A real alarm, sixty seconds away
Alarm Proof does not play a preview button and call it done. It schedules a separate AlarmKit alarm one minute in the future using the selected sound and mission.
The source alarm stays separate
The test uses its own identity, so completing it does not count as a successful morning or alter your wake streak.
You confirm what software cannot hear
After the mission, Ransom asks whether you actually heard the selected sound. That human confirmation closes the part of the loop an app cannot honestly infer.
What a passed proof means
It means the tested sound and mission worked in that test. It is evidence, not a promise that batteries, hardware, permissions, or future operating-system changes can never interfere. Keep ordinary backup habits for critical travel or medical appointments.
